WHAT TO EXPECT
In this section, users will learn how to delete cloudSwXtch from their AWS environment.
Prior to deleting a cloudSwXtch, it is advised to uninstall any xNICs using it. See xNIC Installation.
It is important to note that since the cloudSwXtch was created using a Stack, users do not want to just delete the EC2 instance by itself. Rather, it should be deleted the Stack as a whole, which will also delete all associated resources.
Note
If resoureces were manually created after the cloudSwXtch, and then deleted the stack, the new resources will not be deleted and can lead to a failure trying to finish the deletion.
To delete a cloudSwXtch:
Navigate to the cloud stack: “Cloud Formation → Stacks”
Select the stack to delete.
Click "Delete" and then confirm on the pop-up window.
Refresh the page after a minute or so to confirm the stack has been deleted.
