# How to Add, Edit and Remove groundSwXtches

**WHAT TO EXPECT**

**In this article**, users will learn how to add and delete groundSwXtches. While the user interface is automatically added with each groundSwXtch, it is important to just use one for all groundSwXtches that you intend to work together.

This page is organized into two functions:

To edit a groundSwXtch refer to [How to use the side panel/Configure](/v2/docs/how-to-use-the-side-panel#configure) and [groundSwXtch Details Pane](/v2/docs/groundswxtch-details-pane).

### Add groundSwXtch

To add a groundSwXtch:

1. Select **Add groundSwXtch** icon.
2. Enter the **groundSwXtch Host**
3. If desired enter a **Display Name.**
4. Enter Latitude and Longitude or select Pick on Map. Note that this is not necessary if in Schematic mode in layers.
5. The cursor will show on the map for you to select a location.
6. Select **Add groundSwXtch**.
7. The groundSwXtch will be added.

### Edit groundSwXtch

This is done through the side panel and through groundSwXtch details, see [How to use the side panel/Configure groundSwXtch](/v2/docs/how-to-use-the-side-panel#configure)

### Remove groundSwXtch

To remove a groundSwXtch:

1. Right click on the **groundSwXtch** to be removed on the map.
2. The groundSwXtch details pane will open.
3. Right Click on the groundSwXtch in the expanded window and select **Remove groundSwXtch.**

4. The Remove groundSwXtch confirmation dialog box will open.

5. Select **Remove groundSwXtch** or cancel to leave the groundSwXtch.
6. The groundSwXtch will be deleted.
